DSH Tree Care believes healthy trees can be achieved through sound cultural practices and healthy soil. We offer a number of practices and services to achieve this for all of our clients. Since 2019, our Certified Arborists have recommended many targeted solutions:

Tree and Shrub Fertilization

We are equipped to fertilize the trees and shrubs on your property to make up for any nutrient deficiencies that your soil may have based on soil test results.

Mulching Services

Installing a mulch ring around a tree or mulching all of your plant beds helps to improve the oxygen levels and moisture content in the soil. 

Rootzone Recharge

This is the process of air tilling organic matter into the root zone around a tree to provide a more hospitable environment and enhance soil life.

Root Biostimulant Program

Liquid organic soil amendments injected into the soil under a tree's canopy will help create a more suitable environment for fine root development.

Girdling Roots

When a tree is planted too deep or mulched improperly, girdling roots can form around the base of the tree. These roots will cause damage to the base of the tree, prohibiting water and nutrient uptake, and potentially will cause dieback or mortality. Using compressed air we can safely remove the soil around the trunk and roots and remove the roots causing damage.
